Government Corporate Incentives Wiki
By Alex • Jul 5th, 2008 • Category: NewWays
Who: Any web designer, entrepreneur.
What: Design a Scoop Wiki website called Corporate Incentives Map which illustrates all state and national legislation which offers incentives to corporations.
Why: Incentives are one of the main ways in which traditional economic practices are preserved even after market forces have shifted. For example the auto industry is using governmental handouts to slow the shift from petroleum based transportation into green/electric transportation design. Because of large handouts and incentives, auto companies are able to table larger economic losses which in-turn limits their need to shift their own business practices.
